Kart Racing Network (www.kartracingnetwork.com) is pleased to announce that it will broadcast the 2014 Texas Lone Star Grand Prix, live from the streets of Lockhart, TX on March 1-2. The 2014 LSGP broadcast will once again center around the beautiful Caldwell County Courthouse building, and will feature an exclusive set of innovative enhancements: high definition streaming, HD graphics, eight camera positions, two jumbotrons, live grid interviews, and a KRN announcing team comprised of Tony LaPorta, Rob Howden, and Ken Walker.
And, to even further extend the broad reach of the KRN video stream with interactive features, the live broadcast will be available from three sources; kartracingnetwork.com, lonestargrandprix.us, and a new partnership with Kart360.com.
“The LSGP Team is really excited to be a part of this KRN/Kart360 collaboration,” said LSGP promoter Rob Miller. “This works on so many levels because the very talented folks at both of these great organizations have complimentary skill sets, that will produce new media experiences for kart racers that have never been experienced before. We are truly honored to have this new and unique kart racing media venture at LSGP 2014.”
“It goes without saying, what Rob Miller has done with this event in such a short amount of time is completely amazing,” commented Kart360 co-founder John Johnson. “We were thrilled when Rob invited us to cover the 2014 Texas Lone Star Grand Prix and to bring more awareness for this growing street race. Being able to pair our popular On Location coverage, alongside Kart Racing Network’s unparalleled streaming video, will provide karting fans around the world with a truly 360 degree view of everything going on in Lockhart!”
KRN’s Jeff Franz was equally enthused. “Last year, Rob Miller of LSGP Inc. and the community of Lockhart graciously invited us into their town, and they proved that you just can’t beat Texas hospitality and efficiency. Now, we’re privileged to once again present the Lone Star Grand Prix to a worldwide viewing audience, and we’re eager to welcome Kart360 to the LSGP broadcast. The guys at Kart360 have quickly earned a reputation as a reliable, unbiased news source on the karting scene, dedicated to innovation and progressive ideas.”
